Our journey began with our founder as a young boy, growing up in the suburbs of New York City. While shopping with his Grandmother at the local grocer, the two would enter free raffles before beginning their food shopping adventures. The entry form was your average red raffle ticket ripped in two, one end placed in a drawing bowl, and the other griped tightly in the child’s small hand. The excitement the ticket brought the boy was enough to engrain these shopping experiences in his mind, and to his Grandmothers relief, enough to keep him entertained while she searched for needed ingredients. Although the two never won a raffle his love of the time spent pushed him to create this innovative site in hopes of bringing millions the same happiness and excitement he had gained through a free raffle.

Raffle Dog offers free online prizes and has been in development for years. We launched the site Spring of 2010. Our goal is to give our end users a free prize without any strings attached. Currently we’re offering different raffles every week for local and national companies. Our selection process is unique because the winner is chosen LIVE online from a computer generated “fishbowl” filled with our entry numbers. Our sponsor then mails raffle prizes out directly to the winners.

We are currently based in Long Island, New York, and are currently promoting the site throughout NYC and Long Island. Our hopes are to create a strong online presence from Facebook to Twitter and grow Raffle dog across state lines with ever increasing Local Raffles. In the end our goal is to create a fun, exciting experience for our users and a unique way to promote for our sponsors.
